HELLCRAWLER (Slovenia) Review

Hellcrawler Wastelands Review at Zombie Ritual Zine

HELLCRAWLER “Wastelands”

Hollow Earth Records

Hell Yeah!! This is the kind of music I’d like to see on stage. Coming from Slovenia, these motherfuckers, sons of Satan, mixed raw and primitive death metal with punkish vibes ala Motörhead. The result will blow your fucking head since the first track. And this is the main purpose of the band: to play metal as loud as they can, delivering high decibels from the speakers, as if the end of the world is near. (Wait…) Well, any how this album reminds me all these “Death n’ roll” style, which is done for beer drinkers and lovers of the aforementioned Motörhead. Tracks like “Yet Again the Greed of Man” (which is a fast song, including some punkish guitar riffs and blackened vocals) or “Post Apocalyptic Revolt” (an excellent song in the vein of the most traditional heavy metal, with guttural and furious vocals) are done to turn up the volume while the party is hot. Ultra recommended listening to the album with a fucking cold beer. – Victor Varas
