ACHERONTAS Amenti Review at Zombie Ritual Zine

Acherontas review at Zombie Ritual Zine

World Terror Committee

Now I’m very impressed with this Greek band. Although they are a young entity, former Acherontass (Vocals and guitars) has been into metal underground scene since some time ago. This is black metal in the vein of very old tradition of Europe sound, and definitely the band is very influenced by Nordic area, but I really liked the way they built a solid personality, and they added corrosive vibes to the cauldron. Actually, everything is tied by strong cabalistic elements, and the album has truly dark moments forged in deadly guitar lines and morbid atmospheres. If you ask me, also you can feel painful guitar riffs destroying the air by poisonous structures. My favorite track is “The Stele ov the Last Conjuration”, as this is an authentic manifestation of despair, sacrificial blood and occultism consecrations. Also, this is an album that holds exotic elements into obscured music, and they included specific sections of dark ambient. The result is much better than many out there. I really recommend this band if you are looking for new names coming from Greece.  You won’t regret. – Victor Varas
