NECRORITE “In Death’s Certitude” EP

Unholy Domain Records, Dark Recollections Productions

Filthy, putrid, burned and primitive, these are my first impressions for this new beast. Coming from Uriel Aguillon’s mind (Gutwrench, Morbicus, Rotting Away, etc), the old school stinks from miles away, and this EP truly transmits corrosive feelings since the first track. All compositions are forged based in venomous guitar riffs and obscured structures, and you can’t ignore these ominous lines like black serpents in your head. Everything is tied by a particular perspective of obscured and rotten death metal, and you won’t find weak melodies. Seems like Uriel knows exactly how to sound deadly in only few notes, and he always have a tenebrous ambient for every section, if you know what I mean. Think of first wave of death metal bands coming in tape demos around the globe, at the end of the 80’s. A notorious aspect of this piece of darkness is the important names from the underground appeared as guests. Does a name like Vanessa Nocera, Rubens Nergal, Takashi Tanaka sound familiar to you? Sure they do!! This EP is extremely recommended for old skulls and carnivore motherfuckers. – Victor Varas
