UNDEAD “Blood Enemy”

Self-released

It’s clear that this is one of the most interesting death metal projects I’ve found in Europe, lately. Although I didn’t find much information about it, I know that is involved people from bands like Agresiva, Omission, Baalphegor, etc.

The band didn’t release a demo or something; they went straight to a 7” vinyl which contains only two tracks of carnivorous death metal in the vein of old Swedish sound. Of course the band has many influences from many sources, but everything is tied by extremely ominous guitar riffs and apocalyptic atmospheres. Also, vocal lines are excellent and it recalls me old gods from European death metal. In some specific parts it denotes people with high musical skills, and it forged an excellent result in death metal manifesto. This is a great addition if you collect vinyl format, although both tracks can easily be found in digital. Time shall tell. – Victor Varas
