DAEMONIAC “Lord of Immolation”

This is aggressive, carnivorous and extremely holocaustic. No doubt this Spanish label is releasing really good shit lately. Coming from Lombardy, Italy composed an excellent debut EP forged in the most rotten side of death metal genre.

Of course, they have deep roots in American Old School, and also added good doses of brutality and complexity in specific moments. All tracks have an excellent performance and they rescued the real essence of dark and stinky death metal. The band features ex members of an old entity called HORRID, from early 90’s, so you can imagine that they have huge knowledge for composition in the genre. Also, all instruments sound clear and denote people with musical high skills. All in all, this is a great first step for what I’m sure will be a massive entity. As extra info, this EP includes a cover version of “Chunks of Flesh”, original from Crematory. – Victor Varas
