NECROCOSM “Damnation Doctrine”

Self-Released

This is not bad at all for a debut album. Actually, it has more musical skills than other “famous” big names out there.

Coming from North Carolina, these guys composed a very solid opus forged in melodic death metal with high octane guitars and technical stuff. It seems like these musicians really love modern brutal death metal in America, but they added some doses of Nordic death metal with class. Of course they have thick roots in extreme death metal genre, but they also have high musical skills and everything is surrounded by excellent atmospheres of complexity and rabid attack. Here there is no room for unclean guitar distortions, and everything was recorded carefully and with professionalism. Somehow, these guys entered with the right foot to the road of excellent death metal genre, without falling in childish mistakes. It’s a full length album very well produced and I can’t wait for more news from the band. It’s recommended!!- Victor Varas
