SEWERCIDE “Immortalized in Suffering”

Unspeakable Axe Records

Awesome! After many Split releases and the excellent EP in 2015, these Australian guys unleashed a superlative debut full length album.

This is one of those rare cases where the band absolutely recovers the sound of 90’s death metal and makes a quite destructive album with stinky guitar riffs, holocaustic drums and great vocals ala Morgoth, Asphyx, Obituary, etc. I really liked this shit because of putrid vibes and complex sections. Of course everything has thick references to old bands in the genre, but I admit that the group is looking for an own perspective of extreme music. Also, I liked this hardcore/punkish vibe in all vocal lines, which denotes roots in distinct sources. The band has musical skills, great classic vibe, and excellent performance at all instruments. If you are looking for good and stinky death metal entities, this is definitely for you. Don’t miss it! – Victor Varas
