Album Review PUTRID OFFAL Premature Necropsy

PUTRID OFFAL “Premature Necropsy”

Kaotoxin Records

I rarely go for compilations in metal music, but this time I really liked this piece of rotten flesh. Coming from Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France this entity was founded in 1991 which is a quite respectable amount of years being active.

Album Review MERDA MUNDI VI – Khaos

Merda Mundi cover art

Kaotoxin Records

On my first encounter with this black entity I’m quite impressed because of high quality of guitar riffs, black metal structures and furious vocal lines. In fact, it’s a one-man band forged in the most insane and rawest side of black metal genre.

INSAIN “Enlightening the Unknown”

Kaotoxin Records

I do not understand things, why release an album like this and then disappear? , Is absurd. Seven tracks show us these French in his third work by the way one of them was in the mythic Witches group. It is a neat production which you can distinguish each instrument, a cover containing black and white what is necessary to present the concept of the group.

SAVAGE ANNIHILATION Cannibalisme, hérésie et autres sauvageries Review

Savage Annihilation review at Zombie Ritual Zine

SAVAGE ANNIHILATION “Cannibalisme, hérésie et autres sauvageries”

Kaotoxin Records

It’s an interesting piece of death metal with tons of tempo changes and heavy guitar riffs. The music called my attention because every track is complex and full of chaotic changes, and denotes a high level of composition behind the chaos and the apparently no sensed stuff. Coming from France, these guys have been active in other bands (and other genres), and the experience is vast, so, the musical work is killer since the first track. There are some touches of hard core and even some modern sound here and there, if you know what I mean, and maybe some of you will hate it. If you ask me, this band is still looking for a personality based on heritage coming from Krisiun, Morbid Angel, and even Carcass, and the result isn’t bad at all. This is one of those bands where we can find a mix of modernity with organic stuff. At least, it seems to be quite creative and they really knocked me with twisted guitar riffs on “En etát de decomposition”, for example. My favorite one is “Ouvrez la tombe des assoiffés de sang” which really sounds like a bulldozer full of brutality, cannibalism and blasting elements. This is a great debut album for lovers of the brutal side of death metal with organic productions. – Victor Varas
